Due to the redistricting in our state, every registered voter in the City of Fremont is receiving a new “Voter Identification Card” in the mail. The picture is an example of what you will receive in the mail. The information that is updated are the numbers associated with the following:  State Senate and State Representative.

Jackson Rest Area on US-127 to close for parking lot repairs starting June 8

The Michigan Department of Transportation will close the Jackson Rest Area along southbound US-127 for parking lot repairs starting June 8. The $7.3 million project is expected to last until July 2 and aims to improve safety for both workers and motorists.
