Due to the redistricting in our state, every registered voter in the City of Fremont is receiving a new “Voter Identification Card” in the mail. The picture is an example of what you will receive in the mail. The information that is updated are the numbers associated with the following: State Senate and State Representative.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin an epoxy overlay project on US-127 over Grand River near Clarklake starting June 10. Motorists can expect maintained traffic flow with possible delays as safety measures are implemented.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will start asphalt crack treatment repairs across three mid-Michigan counties beginning June 8. Several major highways near Lansing will experience intermittent lane closures through late August.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will close the Jackson Rest Area along southbound US-127 for parking lot repairs starting June 8. The $7.3 million project is expected to last until July 2 and aims to improve safety for both workers and motorists.
