On March 16, 2023, at approximately 10:50am, officers responded to the 2700 block of Hikone Drive for reports of shots fired. Preliminary investigation shows that prior to officers arriving, two females known to each other engaged in a physical altercation. During the altercation, another female on scene produced a firearm and fired multiple shots. No one was struck by the gunfire. 

When officers arrived on scene, they located one the females involved in the altercation. She was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the altercation. The female suspect who fired the shots had already fled the area when officers arrived. All suspects involved in the incident have been identified and the incident was not random. At this time we do not believe there is any threat to the public.
