On Tuesday, March 24, Avery Lay, who previously played for Chelsea High School, contributed to the Grand Valley State Lakers’ 96-48 victory over the Carson-Newman Eagles in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The matchup was held at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse with the tipoff at 6 p.m.
The Lakers are scheduled for their next game at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, again at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
