Avery Lay, who once played at Chelsea High School and now represents Grand Valley State Lakers, will take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Lakers enter as the No. 1 seed and are set to face Maryville Saints, the eighth seed, in the opening round.
Their first matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 5 p.m. at the GVSU Fieldhouse.
