Avery Lay, an accomplished graduate of Chelsea High School, took part in Grand Valley State’s 87-52 victory against the Davenport Panthers on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The 6-foot-1 freshman forward and guard tallied six points, five rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes of play.
Lay and the Lakers are set to host the Ferris State Bulldogs next, with the game scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
