Omari Byrd, a former Arbor Preparatory High School standout, and his Fayetteville State Broncos lost 96-83 to the California Vulcans on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The game was held at Hagerty Family Events Center at 7:30 p.m. and marked the first meeting with the California Vulcans in this tournament.
