An informational session is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Larcom City Hall for community members to learn about a potential Sports Illustrated (SI) Resorts to develop a sports-themed hotel and conference center on the city-owned Kline lot in Ann Arbor.

The information session will include three presentations with time for questions and answers.  

Destination Ann Arbor will address the need for a conference center and outline economic impacts.Representatives from Sports Illustrated Resorts will present information about a potential development and why Ann Arbor was selected.City of Ann Arbor Planning Manager Brett Lenart will explain the city’s development process for all developers, including SI, for it to proceed and be considered by the City Council.
