Please see the following message from AMTRAK regarding upcoming train track maintenance:

Dear Residents of Dexter,

Please be aware that Amtrak track repair crews will be upgrading and smoothing track through the community starting Monday, August 29 through Saturday, morning September 16.  Work will take place intermittently (not every night) between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Equipment used to make upgrades and repairs will make noise.  Amtrak apologizes for any inconvenience this causes and appreciates the patience of our neighbors while we improve the nation’s passenger train system.

If you have questions about this or other Amtrak projects, please call 800-USA-RAIL or email governmentaffairschi@amtrak.com
