Niles Neighbors Group to Host Day of Action

0Comments

Niles Neighbors, a volunteer organization, will host their Day of Action on Saturday, August 20, from 9:30am-5:00pm.  Organizers hope this event will assist elderly and/or disabled Niles residents in Wards 1 and 3 with small projects that need to be done around their home.  Organizers plan to assist Wards 2 and 4 in the fall.

This event is geared toward outdoor projects like decluttering, painting, shrub removal, lawn mowing, etc.  Organizers have advised that, while they want to assist as many residents as possible, each undertaking will be assessed for size and scope of project.  To learn more about the event and its requirements, click here.

Do you have a need for this program?  You can fill out an application here and return it to event organizers by email at weloveourcommunity2@gmail.com.  Those who do not have access to email can call 269-635-1647 to schedule the pick up of their application.

Organizers are always looking for volunteers!  If you’d like to get involved, please contact weloveourcommunity2@gmail.com or call 269-635-1647.
