A public hearing will be held by the Ypsilanti Zoning Board of Appeals at a special meeting on September 15, 2022 to consider the following:

Appeal of Administrative Decision: 319 N Huron St

The Ypsilanti Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing and may decide on an appeal of an administrative decision. The appellant is appealing the City’s administrative decision that the nonconforming auto repair use at 319 N Huron St had been abandoned. The property in question is 319 N Huron St (11-11-40-410-001), zoned HC- Historic Corridor, and the business formerly known as “My Car Guy.”

The meeting will be held in City Hall’s Council Chambers. The meeting agenda and packet will become available at cityofypsilanti.com/agendacenter. The City invites all interested persons to attend this meeting or to send written comments to the City of Ypsilanti, Community & Economic Development Department, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.   The City of Ypsilanti will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired, Limited English Proficiency (LEP) services, and audios of printed materials being considered at the meeting.  Individuals requiring auxiliary aids or services should provide two (2) days’ notice to the City, and contact the City by writing the City Clerk’s Office, One South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197; or by calling the Clerk’s Office at (734) 483-1100.
