Portage Parks & Recreation invites you to transform your idea into reality by participating in business development programs and services at Portage IdeaWorx. IdeaWorx classes focus on food, arts, and science ideas and help turn your dream into a new business venture.
This month’s workshop is offered by Small Business Development Center (SBDC) consultants and is a must-attend for anyone considering opening a restaurant, coffee shop, and/or catering business. Discover what it takes to start and run a thriving food establishment. Explore topics like creating a menu, building a healthy work culture, and establishing healthy cash flow. As a bonus, this course will cover Michigan Cottage Food Law and licensing requirements.
The workshop takes place at Portage Parks & Recreation, 320 Library Lane on Thursday, January 12 from 6 – 8:30 PM. Registration is required at mypark.portagemi.gov and costs $40 per participant.
