The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Ronnie D. Peterson, Ronnie Peterson Committee, paid $300 to Robert Moore on June 25.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: ‘organ player for memorial’.

The committee has spent about $9,039 total since the beginning of the year, 3.3 percent of which has gone to Robert Moore.

The Michigan Education Association has postponed its decision on endorsing a candidate for governor after failing to reach consensus among committee members. Interviews were conducted with several Democratic candidates while Republicans declined participation. The association says further discussions are planned before making any final decision.
