Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital issued the following announcement on Mar 16.

Congratulations to our Pediatric and Cardiac Intensive Care teams at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for being awarded their second Beacon Award for Excellence through the AACN American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. This is a prestigious award that recognizes exceptional patient care, great outcomes and a highly collaborative and positive work environment. Only 29 pediatric intensive care units in the country have achieved Beacon Award status, and we are the only one in the state of Michigan with the designation.

Congratulations to the PICU and PCICU teams for such an incredible distinction.
