Toyota announced on April 6 the launch of its new marketing campaign, “What’s Your RAV4?”, to introduce the all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4. The campaign highlights the sixth generation of what Toyota calls America’s best-selling small SUV, emphasizing its updated design, hybrid performance, and advanced technology.

The campaign aims to connect with a broad audience by showcasing how the new RAV4 fits various lifestyles and driving needs. Mike Tripp, group vice president of Toyota Marketing, said, “The all-new, 6th generation RAV4 is a vehicle designed for flexibility and fun – providing everyday versatility and enabling moments that bring people together.” He added that the campaign celebrates everyday adventures and shows how people can experience and enjoy driving in their own unique way.

Developed with input from agency partners Saatchi & Saatchi, Burrell Communications Group, Conill, and Intertrend Communications, the integrated campaign features creative content tailored to multicultural audiences. Several commercials were produced in multiple languages targeting different communities. For example, Conill created spots like “Serious Fun” for Hispanic audiences while Burrell Communications developed “Chase Fun,” depicting adventures inspired by pop culture themes. Intertrend Communications contributed ads focused on family connections and individual experiences.

Media placements for this campaign are extensive across television networks such as Disney+, Hulu, NBCUniversal; digital platforms including YouTube; streaming audio like Amazon Music Live; paid social media on Meta platforms; as well as experiential channels. The diverse approach reflects Toyota’s intention to reach drivers through various touchpoints.

The sixth-generation RAV4 introduces several updates: bold exterior styling changes; enhanced hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrains starting at $31,900 MSRP for base models up to $48,500 for higher trims; standard driver-assist technologies such as Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 suite; upgraded multimedia systems with wireless connectivity options; available premium audio systems; LED headlights with automatic high beams; heated seats depending on grade level.

Toyota states that both Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) versions support its broader sustainability vision called “Beyond Zero,” which seeks carbon neutrality through products and operations while positively impacting society.

With nearly seven decades in North America—including recent investments in battery manufacturing—Toyota continues efforts toward next-generation mobility solutions.
