The Trine Thunder, featuring former Dexter High School standout Drew Basso, were defeated 12-5 by the Manchester Spartans in an NCAA Division III baseball contest at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14.
The matchup took place at Jannen Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Basso pitched an inning, recording two walks and striking out one.
Trine Thunder will face the Manchester Spartans again on Saturday, March 14, at 4:30 p.m. at Jannen Field.
