The Trinity Bantams, with former Pioneer High School standout Nathan Friesthler on the roster, defeated the Hood Blazers 88-71 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
The game, held at Ray Oosting Gymnasium at 4 p.m., marked the first meeting between the two teams in the tournament.
Trinity’s next game is set for Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
