Where’s Mr. Crispy? You guessed it…he’s at Veterans Memorial Park! Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated in 2005 and some amenities include walking trails, nature trails, and a bike trail. This park contains a special memorial unlike any other in Portage. The memorial is 40 feet and consists of five separate stones, four flagpoles, lighting and landscaping features. The V-shaped center stone, at a height of seven feet, displays emblems of the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy.

Congratulations Judy Hagey for being the first person to guess the park correctly. Please bring a valid ID and pick up your prize at Portage Parks & Recreation (320 Library Lane) by February 9, 2023. Remember that this prize holds no cash value.

Come back next Tuesday, February 6 for Mr. Crispy’s next location.
