Womens History Month
Sergeant Jaime Crawford — Ann Arbor Police Department FB
0Comments

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth we would like to pay tribute to Sergeant Jaime Crawford, one of seven AAPD female officers in a command position. Sgt. Crawford is a University of Michigan graduate, where she played on the women’s soccer team for three years before then joining the women’s ice hockey team. #GoBlue

Sgt. Crawford has been with the AAPD for nearly 25 years and will be dearly missed when she retires later this year. She has a passion for the Ann Arbor community and is beloved by her fellow officers. She is the ultimate partner and showed that in 2019 when she donated a kidney to an AAPD officer in need of a lifesaving transplant. #organdonor

Fun Fact: Sgt. Crawford may be the best athlete in the AAPD. You can catch her and the rest of the AAPD hockey team in action at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube this Sunday, March 19th at 4pm vs. The Michigan Department of Corrections.
