The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Mandeep Mandy Grewal, Mandy Grewal for State Representation, paid $45 to Google on May 6.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'data service & communications'.

The committee has spent about $495 total since the beginning of the year, 9.1 percent of which has gone to Google.
