English language learners at Ypsilanti Community Schools score 730 on average on the SAT (2018-2019)

English language learners at Ypsilanti Community Schools scored 730 on average in the 2018-2019 academic year on the SAT exam, a worse result than the average for all students in the district, according to the Michigan Department of Education's 2019 Michigan Merit Examination (MME) reports.

Statewide, English language learners scored 815.4 on average in the 2018-2019 academic year.

MME's primary purpose is to provide a snapshot of end-of-year student learning across the state.
