Census Bureau: More men than women in Ypsilanti in 2019

Of the 20,828 people living in Ypsilanti in 2019, 48.2 percent (10,037) were women and 51.8 percent (10,791) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Ann Arbor Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 8,536-to-7,672. In the 65 and over age range, there were 892 females and 693 males.
