Spectrum Health is celebrating and honoring Black History Month throughout February. This year’s national theme is Black Health and Wellness, which is both timely and relevant to our mission. Throughout history, Blacks have made immeasurable contributions to health and wellness, including our Black providers and team members at Spectrum Health who improve health, inspire hope and save lives every day. We remain focused on doing the necessary work to reduce health disparities in Black communities by eliminating barriers, advocating for structural change, and acknowledging we have a long way to go to achieve health equity for all.
