Saturday, April 19: Chelsea High School standout Mya Purdy’s college team loses to Ferris State Bulldogs

On Saturday, April 19, former Chelsea High School standout Mya Purdy’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Ferris State Bulldogs.

The game took place at SVSU Softball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Fisher Stadium against Northwood Timberwolves.
