Four students from Eastern Michigan University have been chosen to display their artwork in Michigan legislative buildings as part of the 2025 Art in the Legislature program. The selected students are Paris Stinson from Canton, Meagan Wohltjen from DeWitt, Sharelle Krisel from Ypsilanti, and Olivia Blissick from Chelsea.

The Art in the Legislature program is organized annually by the Michigan Association of State Universities and the Michigan House of Representatives. Now in its 21st year, this initiative features creative work from students representing 15 public universities across Michigan. This year, 39 students were selected by staff members of both the House and Senate to present a total of 48 pieces.

The displayed artwork will remain available for public viewing until September 2026 before being returned to each student’s university.

Eastern Michigan University was established in 1849 and is currently the second-oldest public university in Michigan.
