Sen. Lana Theis (R-Brighton) is looking to honor one public safety officer in her 22nd District with a special badge of honor.

Theis is sponsoring a contest that will honor one police officer, jail deputy, firefighter, dispatcher or emergency technician who either lives or works in the district for their level of service.

“The 22nd Senate District is blessed with dedicated public safety officers who serve on the front lines of our communities to ensure our health and safety,” Theis posted on her website. “I am looking forward to giving these brave men and women the recognition they deserve.”
