MICHIGAN MEDICINE: Hospitalized Kids Enjoy Gaming Diversions Thanks to U-M Football Legends

Webp football

Michigan Medicine issued the following announcement on Dec. 10.

Last year, former U-M football stars Ty Law and Tom Mack surprised C.S. Mott Children's Hospital with a gift that would help sick kids escape hospital life.

The duo brought new gaming gear donated from the Pro Football Hall of Fame that allows hospitalized kids to play virtual reality games with each other – bringing a sense of togetherness even from separate hospital rooms. And that diversion has proven especially valuable during the COVID-19 pandemic that has limited in-person activities.
