City of Grandville issued the following announcement on Sept 29.

Are you looking for an easy way to protect the environment in your own neighborhood? 

Through Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds - LGROW  Adopt a Drain Grand River program, you can pledge to keep a local storm drain free of leaves and debris, while joining your neighbors in helping to protect the environment, manage stormwater, and minimize flooding.

So far 1,115 drains have been adopted in the lower Grand River watershed.
