City of Plymouth issued the following announcement on Nov 23.
Santa will travel around to the neighborhood parks in the City of Plymouth on a firetruck in a parade starting at 5:45-7:30 pm. The DDA will also be hosting Joel Tacey’s Family Holiday Show starting at 5:30 in Kellogg Park leading up to Santa’s stop. Santa will be riding in the bucket truck and stopping at each neighborhood park to help families kick off the Holiday Season.
The parade will begin at 5:45 p.m. when Santa departs from the Department of Municipal Services yard and heads east on Junction toward Harvey. His first stop will be at approximately 5:49 at Starkweather Park.
From there, he'll head to K of C Park, then on to Kellogg Park, where Joel Tacey will entertain visitors with his holiday magic show before Santa arrives and lights the holiday trees. Then it's off to Fairground Park, Lions Club Park, Wilcox Park, Garden Club Park, Rotary Park, and Hough Park. At approximately 7:03 p.m., he'll cross Sheldon Rd., drive through New England Village, and end his trip around town at approximately 7:07 in Kiwanis Park. A map at www.plymouthmi.gov shows what streets he'll travel along the way.
The time of his arrival at each stop will depend on trains, traffic, or other possible unforeseen events, so to get an accurate idea of when he'll arrive in your neighborhood, follow the Santa Tracker on the City of Plymouth's Facebook page. Then, come out and give Santa a big Plymouth welcome as he drives by.
