REMOVED the Snow Emergency for the City of Plymouth

Cityhall

City of Plymouth recently issued the following announcement.

City of Plymouth has LIFTED/REMOVED the SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION as of 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022

The City Manager has REMOVED the Snow Emergency for the City of Plymouth in accordance with the City’s Snow and Ice Control Policy and City Ordinances related to the public parking system.

This means that the parking of a motor vehicle on a public street in the City of Plymouth is once again allowed and normal on street parking is allowed.

Department of Municipal Services worked throughout the night to clear roads in the City of Plymouth. All residential side streets have been plowed multiple times. All major roads in the city are plowed, clear, wet, and totally accessible.

Residents and property owners are reminded to not blow, shovel, or push snow back into the streets. Doing so, is a violation of City Ordinance and will create a liability for the property owner.  Snow should be stockpiled on the tree lawn area or the area between the sidewalk and the curb.

Residents may visit the City’s website at www.PlymouthMi.gov for additional information and to register for the City’s E-Newsletter.
