Helen DeVos Children's Hospital issued the following announcement on Mar 28.
Harvey can make sounds but can't form words yet. Our pediatric neurosciences speech therapists set him up with a leading-edge digital device called a Tobii Dynavox. Harvey can gaze at images his mom uploads to the screen so she can know which toy he'd like to play with.
“Harvey is a vibrant kid and can communicate more than people assume, which is why the speech device is so great for him,” David Moon, MD, said. Read Harvey's story at https://bit.ly/3N2UXvp.
