Congratulations to Officer Jeanette “JJ” Jerore on her Retirement!

A2

Congratulations to Officer Jeanette “JJ” Jerore on her retirement!

Officer Jerore began working at AAPD in September of 1997.  She was assigned to afternoons working the westside until 2009 and then became a staple working downtown on the night shift.  She had a strong dedication to patrol, but was also involved in several specialty assignments and units over the years: mountain bike team, communications trained officer, D.A.R.E. officer, detective bureau in-service, LEIN TAC, evidence technician, Washtenaw County Crisis Negotiation Team since 2013, field training officer since 2016 and a background investigator since 2016.

A well rounded career, but likely best known for her infectious personality and ability to mentor our younger officers.  You will be missed, Officer Jerore.

Enjoy retirement!
