National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness of the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls and to show support for those at risk of and living with HIV.

HIV and AIDS can affect anyone, but women of color (especially African American and Hispanic women) are disproportionately affected by HIV.

The only way to know your HIV status is to get tested. Knowing your status gives you powerful information to keep you and your partner(s) healthy.

We offer free HIV testing - call us at 734-544-6700 to schedule an appointment or learn more here: http://washtenaw.org/sexualhealth
