There were 16 Hawaiian students enrolled in Washtenaw County districts in the 2022-23 school year, 15.8% less than the previous year, according to the Michigan Department of Education.

Data showed that Washtenaw County welcomed 43,119 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hawaiian students comprised less than 1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county districts.
