Eastern Michigan University (EMU) has acknowledged receipt of a letter from U.S. Representatives Tim Walberg and John Moolenaar. The letter raises concerns about EMU's teaching collaborations with Beibu Gulf University and Guangxi University in China.

EMU has assured that it adheres to all federal laws, including those concerning information and technology transfer, when establishing these articulation agreements. "We received the letter Tuesday from U.S Representatives Moolenaar and Walberg expressing their concerns about our teaching collaborations with Beibu Gulf University and Guangxi University in China," EMU stated.

The university is currently reviewing the issues outlined by the representatives. "We are carefully evaluating the concerns presented and will respond to them in the immediate future," EMU confirmed.
