On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Saline High School standout Clara Cherry’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Saline High School standout Clara Cherry’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Union Bulldogs.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against Lake Erie Storm.
