Chelsea High School standout Mya Purdy’s college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Friday, Feb. 21

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Chelsea High School standout Mya Purdy’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgia Bobcats.

The game took place at Bobcat Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
