On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Saline High School standout Clara Cherry’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, won 11-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Barry Buccaneers.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Union Bulldogs.
