Supporting Family Caregivers At Your Business issued the following announcement on Sept 24.
Washtenaw County employers have an opportunity to participate in the current Northeast Business Group on Health (NEBGH) survey to assess how caregiving friendly your organization is. Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is working to increase awareness of family caregiving in the workplace and how to best support these employees. We are encouraging Washtenaw County employers to complete the NEBGH Supporting Caregivers survey on behalf their organizations for three reasons: 1) your organization will receive results to be able to gauge how “caregiving friendly” your organization is compared with other employers; 2) to gauge how “caregiving friendly” Washtenaw County employers are overall; and 3) to compare Washtenaw County to the national survey results.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Survey responses are anonymous.
The survey is best taken by human resources / benefits professionals, but does not have to be.

A few important notes:
“Caregiving” in this survey refers to caring for an ill or aging family member – not childcare.
Data will be aggregated – no person’s name or company name will appear anywhere.
Northeast Business Group on Health developed this survey in partnership with AARP – AARP will have no access to emails, names or company names.
Area Agency on Aging 1-B will have no access to emails, names or company names, nor does Area Agency on Aging 1-B receive any compensation for your participation.
There is not a minimum or maximum number of employees required to participate.
