The Senate Committee on Insurance and Banking recently heard testimony from the Department of Insurance and Financial Services' fraud unit.
"This morning, the Senate Committee on Insurance and Banking is hearing testimony from the Department of Insurance and Financial Services is providing testimony on their Fraud Investigation Unit," state Sen. Lana Theis (R-Brighton Township) revealed on a Facebook post.
She then invited the public to view the testimony on the Michigan Senate's live stream feed.
Theis represents Michigan's 22nd State Senate District, which includes all of Livingston County and western Washtenaw County, including Ann Arbor (part), Chelsea, and Dexter, and Bridgewater Township. Dexter Township, Freedom Township, Lima Township, Lodi Township, Lyndon Township, Manchester Township, Northfield Township, Saline Township, Scio Township, Sharon Township, Sylvan Township, and Webster Township.
