Webp vote 13

The City of Ann Arbor issued the following announcement on May 1.

The Ann Arbor City Clerk's Office is rallying votes for a different reason throughout the month of May. This time, Ann Arbor residents are being asked to select their favorite entries in the “I Voted" sticker design contest. Design finalists are on display at www.a2gov.org/departments/city-clerk/Elections/Pages/Sticker-Design-Contest.aspx. Residents can vote for their favorites in each of the three divisions by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/A2IVotedStickerDesignContest. Voting is open now through 11:45 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Winners will be recognized at the June 15, 2020, City Council meeting. The winning “I Voted" sticker design(s) will debut during the presidential election in November, when the stickers will be proudly worn by the 107,114 registered voters who call the city of Ann Arbor home.

The City of Ann Arbor launched the “I Voted" sticker design contest on Jan. 31. Throughout February and March, residents sent in their unique designs bursting with civic pride and local style. Throughout April, finalists were selected in three divisions by a panel of judges, including Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor and representatives from the Ann Arbor Public Art Commission, Ann Arbor Public Schools, the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design, the Ann Arbor Citizens Academy and the office of the Ann Arbor City Clerk.

The City of Ann Arbor wishes to thank all who submitted their creative and spirited designs to help promote the importance of participating in elections.
