City of Ann Arbor - Public Transit issued the following announcement on June 20/

Wednesday, June 24 at 7 a.m. – Wednesday, July 1 at 5 p.m.

June 19, 2020 - Location and Limits of Affected Area:

Broadway Street at Plymouth Road

Description of Work:

Blaze Contracting will occupy Broadway Street from Plymouth Road to Traver Creek to reconstruct a public street intersection as part of a Private Development project. Construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Temporary Traffic Control Plan:

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, the southwest end of Broadway Street will be closed to through traffic at the Plymouth Road intersection. Southwest bound Broadway Street vehicle traffic will be detoured on northeast bound Broadway Street to the northeast end of Broadway Street at Plymouth Road, then southwest bound on Plymouth Road. Local businesses will have access maintained with limited interruption. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained along Plymouth Road, accessed from the Plymouth Park path at Broadway Street, then southwest bound on the asphalt path on the southeast side of Plymouth Road to the newly constructed sidewalk on Plymouth Road between Broadway Street and Maiden Lane.

To maintain the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the detour route. We thank you in advance for your patience.
