Census Bureau: 81.2 percent of people in Washtenaw County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 367,000 citizens living in Washtenaw County in 2019, 298,124 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 151,485 of those people were female and 146,639 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
