City of Dexter issued the following announcement on July 24.
The Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office and Board of Public Works, as well as several community partners, will be sponsoring Environmental Clean-up Days for Washtenaw County residents. These events provide opportunities for residents to dispose of many unwanted household items in a safe and sustainable manner.
All Washtenaw County residents are welcome to bring tires, electronics, paints, oils, cleaning/garden chemicals, and much more for responsible and safe disposal by waste specialists. This event also accepts foam packaging and containers.
Remaining 2021 Clean-Up Days are:
· July 31 – Saline High School, 1300 Campus Pkwy, Saline
· August 14 – Eastern Michigan University, Rynearson Stadium, 799 N. Hewitt St., Ypsilanti
