Edna Jackson-Gray, Ph.D. | Sky Foundation Inc.
Edna is a 13.5-year survivor of pancreatic cancer and has been involved with the foundation for several years as a volunteer and leader. She is a former health care professional and college administrator, and most recently served as Interim Director in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. Now retired and living in Ann Arbor, she is active in several civic and community organizations.
Edna is anxious to do her part to enhance the awareness of ethnic and racial disparities in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
“We understand that this may be due to lifestyle, socioeconomic factors and disparities in care,” said Edna. “As a survivor and health care professional, the advancement of public awareness, treatment, and research are all dear to my heart and foundational to Sky’s mission.”
