City of Novi issued the following announcement on Aug 22.
Mayor Bob Gatt welcomed Governor Gretchen Whitmer and State Representative Kelly Breen to Novi Fire Station #1 this afternoon for a tour and to meet the men and women of the Novi Fire Department. Gov.
Whitmer learned about our combination fire department that provides 24-hour coverage at all of four of our stations and is the envy of other communities.
She also brought pizza with her to thank our fire team for all they do to keep Novi safe.
