CITY COUNCIL/POLICE ADVISORY COMMISSION JOINT MEETING – VIRTUAL NOTICE
The Ypsilanti City Council/police Advisory Commission will hold A Virtual Work Session on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
The Virtual Meeting is being held virtual to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
The Special Meeting is begin called for the following:
- Discussion regarding biannual joint meetings
- Discussion regarding amendments to Ordinance 1295
- Discussion regarding how YPAC will show success
- Discussion formulating strategies on how to prevent the hiring of officers fired from other jurisdictions.
- Closed Session to discuss pending litigation – MCL 15.268 (e) Ypsilanti Art Theatre Corp v the City of Ypsilanti.

Members of the public will be able to make comment during the designated time for public comment. To address Council, meeting participates will need to “raise their hand” to indicate they want to speak.

After you raise your hand you will be informed when it is your turn to speak, and your microphone will be unmuted at that time. Your microphone will be muted again when you have finished your comments or when your speaking time has expired.
