City of Northville recently issued the following announcement.
Traffic advisory: On Friday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. the Northville High School Homecoming Parade begins at N. Center and Rayson and heads north before turning left at 8 Mile and heading westbound to the football field entrance (just east of the pedestrian bridge). For public safety along the parade route, these streets will be closed from approximately 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on that day.
• Eight Mile from Randolph to N. Center
• N. Center from Dunlap to Eight Mile
Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route unless you are attending the parade. Use Griswold to bypass the parade route. Hutton and Randolph will remain open during the parade.
