City of Portage issued the following announcement on Jan 5.
Non-emergency city offices will be closed on Thursday, January 6 due to the winter storm warning currently in effect. Essential services - Public Safety, Public Works & utilities - will operate.
In the event of a police, fire or medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
