Happy to report that the budgets and purchase orders have been approved by the City Council for adding 4 new Pickleball Courts at Wedgwood Park and new playground equipment at various parks, as well as maintaining scaled down Horseshoe pits.

The Parks and Rec Board prioritized and targeted needs and wants as laid out in the City of Grandville 5 year Parks and Recreation Plan.

The basketball courts at Calvin Crest and Heritage parks have been redone, painting to be done this spring.

The floating dock and walkway at Heritage is being replaced with a modern dock that will make it more ADA compliant and safe for all ages.

Mill Race is in the process of being designed for completion in 2024.

Also budgeted is upgrading the restrooms at the LL Complex to make them ADA compliant and modernized.

Great things are happening. The COVID Pandemic highlighted how important our parks are to all Grandville citizens.
