Eastern Michigan University (EMU) is set to host TRUEMU Night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on February 5, coinciding with the Detroit Pistons' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The event is an opportunity for EMU students, faculty, staff, and alumni to gather and show their support for both the university and the Pistons.

The exclusive ticket package offered by EMU includes a ticket to the game, a limited-edition co-branded Pistons/EMU hoodie, and a $5 donation to the EMU Student Emergency Fund. This fund assists currently enrolled students with financial support for emergency expenses.

Walter Kraft, vice president for communications at EMU, highlighted the significance of these events: "TRUEMU nights are a great way for Eastern Michigan students, faculty, staff, and alumni to get together for a fun night of camaraderie and school pride." He added that attendees will have opportunities such as having their photo taken with Swoop and receiving the special hoodie at no extra cost.

Founded in 1849, Eastern Michigan University serves nearly 13,000 students across various disciplines. The institution is recognized nationally for its excellence and commitment to applied education.
